Letter from Peter W 1995
I developed all of the classic symptoms of Ross River Virusabout 4 years ago.
I felt so terrible that I went to Port Hedland Hospital On a Sunday. The doctor told me the watery blisters on my shoulders were an alergic reaction and sent me home.
I saw my private doctor on the Monday and he told me that he strongly suspected I had Ross River Virus but wouldn't say for sure unyil the results of a blood test.
Sure enogh the tests came back posative. He should have guessed it right as he had 37 other Ross River Virus patients confirmed by blood test that week or fortnight.
The following week the Health Departmant announced that people should avoid mosquitos as RRV was about as there were three cases confirmed in the Pilbara and Kimberly.
That was after one doctor alonehad had 37 confirmed cases.
I was sent home and told to take one Aspro a day, and let the visus take its course. it ached in all my joints and I developed very painful feet. I could hardly walk for six months. I became very exhausted after walking only a short distance.
I felt very little effect for the first course of the tea, but a better feeling of well being during and after my second course.
I felt my improvement was significantto recomend the teato send to friends.
I will be ordering several more this year.
Regards
Peter W
